I love Cocoapods and I use it for all my Objective-C apps. But until recently, it didn't work well with Swift. Now, as Joshua Greene explains, you can use Cocoapods in your Swift projects. Just like RubyGems simplifies Ruby apps and Pip simplifies Python apps, you can use Cocoapods to simplify dependency management in your Swift apps. It's really worth your while to read this - using Cocoapods is significantly easier and more repeatable than just dropping in large blobs of third party code into your game projects.
